I've been wondering about this too. Where exactly on road map is it? Someone mentioned v2, which is just way too far away for me ;-)We want to create multi language web site using midgard multilang. But
when i ask David Schmitter, he said that most of the free open source
midgard admin hasn't support the multilang yet including aegir, while we
use aegir for our web site development.When will aegir will support the
multilang feature in the next future? Or is there other admin interface
with free open source term that we can use? Thanks
Multilang is quite new feature to Midgard itself, so it needs time to budnle it into admin interfaces. Sure, Aegir will support multilang eventually - it is on a roadmap
I tried looking at what it would take to install at one stage and got lost. It doesn't help that it needs MPP and I'm running on the RPMs which don't use it.
The next release (this year--fingers crossed) of Midgard-Data is scheduled to contain MPP and Multilang by default. So it seems like time to start thinking about how to get it into the admins.
Having said that, there are ways to build multilingual sites without using multilang... Bergie seems to have done it quite a bit with both Aegir and MidCOM.
