Any idea where I could find the source. The RPM's are all I could find.

I've seen in the archives that I might need glib-devel and so I've
been
trying all afternoon to get an RPM that will convert successfully to a
tarball using rpm2targz. All I get is:
fc1-2:/test# rpm2targz glibdev-1.2.6-1.i386.rpm
fc1-2:/test# gunzip glibdev-1.2.6-1.i386.tar.gz
gunzip: glibdev-1.2.6-1.i386.tar.gz: decompression OK, trailing
garbage
ignored
fc1-2:/test# tar xvf glibdev-1.2.6-1.i386.tar
./
I think that You should just download glib sources and compile it.
