One other thing to maybe add into the mix is the update of the mechanisms used to transfer data from staging to live server and all the associated permutations of that. This is to try and ensure that the correct data is added, removed and flagged and that the mechanism is scalable to large quantities of data (we have 26 websites on one server and an intranet on the other all using Aegir and Midgard/Com with both staging and live components and it is set to expand massively over the coming months)?

Obviously we need to get the best value for money without compromising on quality, so your suggestions about which organisation should do the work would be appreciated. What about the local developers (Mark, Emiliano etc) ? Great news! It has been a shame to see Aegir slowly decay away... How would you like to move forward with this? Should one of the Aegir developer organizations (InterMedia, Nemein, Milk Farm, ...) make you a proposal on bringing Aegir up-to-date? Note: I suggest to also change usage of parameters and things like approval information to conform with the MidCOM metadata spec. > Mike /Henri -- Henri Bergius [EMAIL PROTECTED] Consultant Partner Tel: +358-20-198 6032 Nemein Oy http://www.nemein.com/ --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
