Not sure...

I've tried with maven 2.0.6, 2.0.7 and 2.0.8 on a project that
represents your case. All worked.

Which maven version are you using ?

Add anything else that might help (full pom, full log, project
structure information, tools version) etc.. Don't hesitate to create
an issue in Jira and attach those there.
