Take a look at
http://maven.apache.org/ref/2.2.1/maven-model/maven.html#class_resource
Your xml-file should be part of such resource, with filtering set to true
(default false)
Now you can use ${project.groupId} ${project.artifactId} ${project.version} in
your xml-file.
