[mojo-user] Cobertura: NoClassDefFound on org.apache.log4j.Logger

I've used the cobertura-maven-plugin in the past.  I'm trying to 
implement it on a new project, but I've encountered this exception when 
trying to run the "cobertura" and/or "instrument" goals, caused by a 
ClassNotFoundException on org.apache.log4j.Logger.  Even though I assume 
that the Cobertura plugin would pull the needed dependency on Log4J, I 
added it to my <dependencies>, anyway.  That still didn't seem to help.  
I'm a bit stumped - can't figure out how to get Log4J into the mix.

Any help?
