THis is exactly what I need. I am building provisioning scripts to stand
up and configure this configuration. I am using ansib le
(http://ansibleworks.com/) as the provisioning system.  I am almost
clueless from a solr + nutch standpoint. So let me suggest that I follow
along as you document this and I will model what you describe in ansible
and provide feedback.  I can put about 2 hrs a day max into this (except
next week, which I am at a conference all week).

When I am done I will have an ansible playbook and a small amount of
separate documentation which will go into github or bitbucket.  I'm
setting this up to work on amazon ec2 but could work on any server.  Not
much amazon specifics in the playbook.

How does that sound?

I hope to have something working by December.
