Sure, I've never committed to an apache project, and the codes filled with extra/unused stuffs from httpclient; so maybe let's clean it up on GH and then consider adding it to the apache project?
Let me know if there's anything I should do to help get this moving in the right direction to make it broadly more usable and clean.
