I've never seen that tutorial before. If I were you i would instead follow
the official tutorial which can be found at
http://wiki.apache.org/nutch/Nutch2Tutorial
If you have issues with this tutorial then please let us know.

Your configuration is all wrong and you are using the Gora MemStore
implementation which is not supported in Nutch.

Nutch 2.3.1, gora-hbase 0.6.1 HBase 0.98.8-hadoop2 and Hadoop 2.5.2
