Is the procedure Ok ?

Here is my recepie to configure ODE using tomcat Mysql Pool connection

## Configure ODE under tomcat to use a MySQL database

## Database & User creation :
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/opt/ode$ mysql -u root
mysql> CREATE DATABASE `ode`;
mysql> GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON ode.* TO 'ode'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY 'edo';

## Loading Database tables definitions
retriveve the SQL scheme at
https://gaswerk.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/gaswerk/assemblies/soa-stack/trunk/gaswerk-database/gaswerk-soa-stack-db/src/main/sql/complete-db-mysql.sql

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/opt/ode$ mysql -u ode -pedo ode < complete-db-mysql.sql

## Creating a jndi resource for context '/ode' inside tomcat
Personaly, I use Tomcat Admin webapps to define datasources ...
JNDI resource name will be 'jdbc/mysql/ode'

### Configuring ode properties
Create a file name 'ode-axi2.properties' under
$CATALINA_HOME/webapps/ode/WEB-INF/conf

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/opt/tomcat/webapps/ode/WEB-INF/conf$ cat ode-axis2.properties
ode-axis2.db.mode=EXTERNAL
ode-axis2.db.ext.dataSource=java:comp/env/jdbc/mysql/ode
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/opt/tomcat/webapps/ode/WEB-INF/conf$

## Set up tomcat to deal with MySql
You should put the MySql connector inside $CATALINA_HOME/common/lib
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/opt/tomcat/common/lib$ ll mysql*
mysql-connector-java-5.1.5-bin.jar
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/opt/tomcat/common/lib$

## restart Tomcat

And then, you're done !
