POS great.
Nice to know how POP functionality can be built in.
POP = Point of Purchase.
It is differernce from which Party looks at transactions.
Same transaction is POS for merchant. But for buyer it is POP transaction.
Govt all over the world is looking at standarding the POP transaction.
It is just food for thought.

I might be willing to fund some effort on this. Imagine a store with
literally hundreds of thousands of items that can be ordered at the
counter, but not really in stock... Auto parts stores, Appliance parts
stores (like me) etc, all deal with both wholesale and retail accounts at
the counter where an expanded POS system would be great to have. Let me
know if the code can be stablized quickly enough to accomplish something
along these lines in a timely manner.
