It could be both. It depends on how you want to organize your data.
Example: we build and sell homes through a dealer network. So, our dealer is the
customer, and the homeowner is the consumer.
The demo data is there to demonstrate how to use OFBiz. It's pretty generic. The
actual data you use depends entirely upon your needs.
