suggestion: have the promotions for a product show and use a check box to apply. setup of a max discount per order that is based on the gross profit of the order. this would allow the OE personnel to select discount but allow management to keep a certain profit margin. this would be calculated on the fly as the OE adds and deletes Items from the order.
