why it's difference?

hi
  i use find service can find record (equals , begins with), but the
entity-and , entity-condition can't find record,

  i use oralce database , the field define as NCHAR(20),

  if i want find a record ,  i must input 10 chars in field , or append some
space in tail  ,

 i know , can change the field define from char to varchar , but is there
any another method for that?
