Hi Everyone Does anyone know if there has been any changes to the Sales Tax logic recently?
A couple of days ago I downloaded and installed SVN 680225 and the only Sales tax that I can get it to work is for shipping and handling costs. Last week with my old SVN 673359 I got Sales Orders and Invoices with the tax calculated at item level. Just to check - I've done some tests with the Hotwax Demo store using DemoCustomer buying a Rainbow Gizmo (GZ-1004) and no Sales tax adjustment appears on the Final Order Review Screen. I've checked that GZ-1004 is set up as taxable. I've checked the Tax Authority for UT shows a 4.75% tax rate. I saw that DemoCustomerCompany is flagged as exempt in the UT Tax Authority under the Parties tab but couldnt find any relationship in Party Manager that DemoCustomer is linked to DemoCustomerCompany. Just to be extra sure – I created a new user from the Hotwax Demo store at checkout with a Utah address and tried to the order the same product again – still no Sales tax. Does anyone know if there are any other settings that I need to check?
