your dbc-uri="jdbc:mysql://127.0.0.1/ofbiz_odbc?autoReconnect=true" is pointing to your local server it has to have the ip of the remote sever and they should be on the same network. the database the jdbc-driver="com.mysql.jdbc.Driver" does not use outside odbc protocols.
