Yes this is a random known problem with demo server.
For the links, simply use the ones on OFBiz site http://ofbiz.apache.org/

asks for userid/passwd. After entering admin/ofbiz
gives the following
The Following Errors Occurred:
username was empty reenter
password was empty reenter
Then, I enter the same userid/passwd again, it logs me in.
