Hello,
We tried to compare a version of FTLs since we took it for development
(version 4.x) with one of the latest - productsummary and productdetail
templates.
The changes:
- remove @ofbizUrl
- reading texts directly from a map without too many validations
Most of the changes are on database level and entities level.
For us the effort of upgrade could be really huge considering database
and entities layers so the question is really what advantages could we
get out of the new form of templates regarding layout flexibility?
It would be really helpful if someone could point out here the benefits
of the new version regarding layout flexibility.
