There are two ways I do this;

(Note: I use Debian server)

 

# cd /etc/init.d/red5 start

 

Or alternatively


# cd /usr/lib/red5

# ./red5.sh

 

If the above works for you or not, can depend on what OS you are using
and how you installed OM.
