jeff, thanks alot for your response, i finally get the res_config connected to the database, but when i dial one of the room extentions i get the below error in asterisk cli,any ideal of what might be causing this. The database mentioned in the extensions.conf file is actually referring the local astdb which is an internal database used by asterisk.
