Hello Aaron, What version are you using? Just have checked using latest 4.0.4-SNAPSHOT - it creates links with *target="_blank"* attribute set So everything should work as expected
According to links in documents: right now documents are being created as background images for WB This allows to draw/type on WB as well as perform "Clean slide" action Creating editable WB documents will require much more efforts Maybe in some future versions ....
