a producer method for the expression factory sounds strange as well. @codi: i'm not aware that you reported the issue and i never heard about such an issue. you can generate a demo with mvn archetype:generate -DarchetypeCatalog= http://myfaces.apache.org use #11 and you get a simple hello-world application and you will see that the multi-window support works as intended.
