Hi Mark, yeap that did the trick.
now im having problems in the view, a simple h:selectOneMenu is not working, i
think the named bean is not being recognized in the view..not sure whats
causing it.
here is the error:
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Era esperado um componente-filho do tipo
UISelectItem/UISelectItems para o componente do tipo
javax.faces.SelectOne(tipoItemRelacionado). Encontrado null.
at
com.sun.faces.renderkit.RenderKitUtils.getSelectItems(RenderKitUtils.java:320)
translating the error:
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: was expected a child component of type
UISelectItem/UISelectItems for the component of typ
javax.faces.SelectOne(tipoItemRelacionado). but found null.
at
com.sun.faces.renderkit.RenderKitUtils.getSelectItems(RenderKitUtils.java:320)
here is the page:
<h:selectOneMenu id="tipoItemRelacionado" styleClass="forme400"
value="#{infracaoFatoMB.tipoOcorrenciaSelecionado}">
<f:selectItems value="#{infracaoFatoMB.listaTipoOcorrencia}"/>
<a4j:support event="onchange" process="idOutputPanelFurtoPerda"/>
</h:selectOneMenu>
the f:selectItens is resolving to null, also the getter
of listaTipoOcorrencia is never called, (neither the constructor of the cdi
bean is being called)
the bean is declared as follows:
@ViewAccessScoped
@Named("infracaoFatoMB")
public class InfracaoFatoMB extends DolMB{
thanks for the help.

Assunto: Re: Getting OpenWebBeans working in WebLogic 11g
that's an easy one: you also need the javax.interceptors spec jar. This got
introduced with EE6 and unifies the interceptor handing of EJB and CDI. In Owb
we use the following artifact:
http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/apache/geronimo/specs/geronimo-interceptor_1.1_spec/1.0/
