If anyone experiences the same problem (hello, google!), here is my workaround:
- create table ANOTHER_TABLE - hbase org.apache.hadoop.hbase.mapreduce.CopyTable --new.name=ANOTHER_TABLE SEARCH_RESULT But I still have no idea what has happened to the original table. Michal
