All Apache projects release in the form of source code. The release of JARs is purely for your convenience as a user.

If you would like to enable this, please contribute to https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PHOENIX-1567

There is no JAR for org.apache.phoenix:phoenix. There's a
source-release tarball [1]

Use org.apache.phoenix:phoenix-core [2]

Hi,

I am trying to use the package located at
http://search.maven.org/#artifactdetails%7Corg.apache.phoenix%7Cphoenix%7C4.4.0-HBase-1.1%7Cpom

in an intelij idea maven project.

it seems that the jar located there is broken.

It can not be downloaded.
