That's a great question. As you have discovered, this isn't currently possible. 
For now, you'll need to manually wire up an event listener and set the 
"enabled" property yourself. We may be able to add support for this at some 
point in the future, but it will require some thought as to how best to 
approach it. Suggestions are welcome.
