Understood. I'm just explaining the background behind PIVOT-318 (note that 
Pivot's shape DOM is also a Java graph - see 
org.apache.pivot.wtk.media.drawing). So a hypothetical Pivot SVGSerializer 
would probably do something similar to what SVGSalamander does, but would 
generate a Pivot shape DOM and be released under the Apache License.
