There's some support for .xlxm in 3.7, it's worth having a try to see if enough is there for your needs. .xlsb isn't supported, and probably won't be - people seem to either want the compatibility of .xls, or are happy with using .xlsx. To support .xlsb would be a lot of coding work, and as yet no-one has been interested in sponsoring/doing it.
