i think Ibm java 6 does not provide the full xml parser functionality, can you try IBM Java 7?
Dominik Yeah, looking at the exception, it's complaining about a missing SAX parser method, likely employed as of 3.11. SAX is included with Java 6 but perhaps your version of java is a bit old. This link indicates that Sun/Oracle 1.6.0_18 is required for support version POIs OOXML 3.9 http://stackoverflow.com/questions/26866398/nosuchmethoderror-in-main-thread-while-reading-xlsx-using-apache-poi We have been using 3.10 on the IBM and oracle JVM for some time, but I have not tried 3.9 or 3.11. Either way it looks like you should consider adding the latest PTF for Java to see if that resolves the issue. I am replacing the 3.10 poi jars in /QIBM/Userdata/Java400/ext with the 3.11 versions as I have done when upgrading from previous versions. I do not have a folder /QOpenSys/Userdata/Java400/ext. I've been upgrading poi like this for a long time so am surprised to be having an issue this time. As you say, I know that things can be a little different in my environment. -- View this message in context: http://apache-poi.1045710.n5.nabble.com/No-Such-Method-Error-Upgrading-Trom-3-10-To-3-11-tp5717542p5717544.html Sent from the POI - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected] --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
