Hi kiwiwings,

I don't think i have multiple poi jars in my class path. Its not a web
application, its an eclipse app. I tried the HSLF support and this works.
Tables in ppt slides are created successfully. Its just that XSLF tables
don't seem to work for me and i would like to have the feature to create
slides with a given layout (from a template) and change the content of
placeholders (e.g the title place holder). This works, only table creation
is problematic. I couldn't find a way to do that with HSLF. I am using
poi-3.9, ooxml-schemas-3.9 and xmlbeans-2.3.

Here is another thread i found during my searches:
http://apache-poi.1045710.n5.nabble.com/XSLF-tables-doesnt-working-td5697188.html

Interestingly the solution suggested in the thread doesn't work for me.

The code you posted is the almost the same as the one i use. Only the table
creation doesn't take the number of rows, columns as input parameters. I
guess that's is added in the newest releases.
