Good Morning, it is related to 4 GB size limits and the use of ZIP64, please see https://bz.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=62872 My understanding is, that you can enforce the use of ZIP64 now although you have decide by yourself when to switch it on. Also ZIP64 is not supported by LibreOffice. Gnumeric works fine, I do not know about Excel.
