Hi I am trying the HBase ACL with Ranger. But I found a problem when I have multiple RegionServers.
In my case, Ranger-HBase-Plugin is at HMaster table1 is at RegionServer1 table2 is at RegionServer2 I created a policy to table2(no wild-card), grant a full permission to an user, and turn the audit function on. But I can not see any audit log when I scan table2 or insert a row. By the way, I just saw the installation guide, it says Ranger will work only with HBase version 0.99.2 or above. Is there any reason? And Ambari 2.0 supports both the installations of Ranger and HBase(0.98.4), so according to the guide, the Ranger-HBase-Plugin would be malfunctioned. I think this is strange.
