Hi, I am new to Apache Ranger and just started playing with its offerings. I am using Ranger 0.5.0.2.3 that comes along with HDP 2.3.2.0. I have a few questions as follows.
1. Is it possible to sync user simultaneously from LDAP and UNIX systems? In the Ranger's settings page, it is a radio button and only one can be enabled at a time. 2. Can I have regex in the for database / table names while creating a Hive policy? 3. Does Ranger function properly with HDFS policy for folder name having "." (dot) and "_" (underscore)?
