We've had an Ant based build process from the start and never had a good reason to switch to Maven. There is a patch available to add a Maven based build process and I hope to have some time to take a look at it once the 4.0 and 3.1.1 releases are out of the way, but I'll admit up-front I'm gonna be pretty hesitant to switch to only using Maven -- I've had nothing but trouble with it in the past. - Dave
