I found one more thing, I deployed roller via the tomcat manager app, 
which never loads the next page after clicking the deploy button, but if 
I go to the root of the web site some pages will load, but in tomcat 
manager "List Applications" will not load.  Which is just to say that 
tomcat doesn't freeze entirely.
