Yes,

I did mean to say 6.5, not 3.5
We have also decided to use Jahia, and although I run
into some issues, and at least one roadblock I am pretty
satisfied with it's ease of use.

I have tried Magnolia also, but I found that much less
intuitive. I kept like feeling I was modifying a database
directly (a JCR in this case) to change it's behaviors
instead of working with dialogs that ask me the right question.
For example if I want to allow different type of content elements,
I needed to add a specific string to that content container
and it wouldn't verify if that type of content type really existed.
(Excuse for not using the right grammar, I am not familiar what
Magnolia calls each item).

One other issue wast the STK, if you use the open source version
with STK you have to put a link to the Magnolia website from each
and every page. This method of working is not common with
GPL like projects. I don't have issues with adding info in a header
of a website, just that link on every page is to much IMHO.

Dean,

From the above 3 I am really liking Jahia 3.5Beta which pretty much rocks

must be talking about Jahia 6.5, not 3.5, right?

Final version should be due in QIII this year, the beta still has some
flaws, though.

Anyhow, we crutinized some CMSs here, also took a look at Hippo &
Magnolia, and we decided for Jahia.

Personally, I don't need the PHP-functionality since we're all Java
here, but it might ease the migration for guys coming from PHP.
