Arrggghh! Trying my second test server again (which has a copy of live
rollerdata and db data) and now I get a red error in the File Uploads page "You
have exceeded your file upload quota" and no filename/Browse/Upload artifacts
so no way to upload a file. Lo and behold I have just over 4MB of images (I
never bother with full-sized ones - so most are only 10s of kB)! But on my live
system, with same images/resources directory I don't get that quota message - I
still get the entry fields and it lets me attempt to upload the file -
presumably due to a bug. Then it must be blocking the upload based on the total
file size limit without going to the database or logging an error.

I logged in as admin (didn't even remember having one as only ever use my
regular account), upped the limit to 40MB and bingo - worked first time!

I think the time spent trying to resolve this issue has been quite an
eye-opener (and am annoyed with myself now for not spotting the issue earlier)
- I either need to get it running on the latest Roller or move to a different
platform and let someone else worry about the details. That said Roller is
still the best (only?) Java OSS blogging software and, as I said earlier, apart
from this has been really reliable.
