Can you provide more information? Are you having a spark stand alone
cluster running? If not, then you won't be able to access 8080. If you want
to load file data, you can open up the spark-shell and type
val rawData = sc.textFile("/path/to/your/file")
You can also use the https://github.com/databricks/spark-csv for reading
the CSV data.
