Pablo Cannot you use SQL Profiler to monitor the number of connections created?

If you are trying to import data from SQLServer for instance to Amazon s3 directly using the s3a in the target-directory... how many connections is going to open Sqoop? Is Sqoop creating a connection with the SQL Server and another one with S3 or is the same connection?
