Cannot you use SQL Profiler to monitor the number of connections created?

Hi guys,

I have one question about how Sqoop works. If you are trying to import data 
from SQLServer for instance to Amazon s3 directly using the s3a in the 
target-directory... how many connections is going to open Sqoop? Is Sqoop 
creating a connection with the SQL Server and another one with S3 or is the 
same connection?
