Sqoop 1.4.7 support for Hadoop 3.x

Hi,

I see that CDH and EMR use sqoop 1.4.7 with Hadoop 3.x, however the open 
source-code of sqoop-1.4.7 uses Hadoop 2.x. Does the community not officially 
support Hadoop 3.x?
