I am trying to understand the relationship between "emitted" and "transferred" values for the spout in a Trident topology. I have multiple instances of the same topology executing, so I expected the ratio of emitted to transferred would be the same or at least similar for all instances of the topology but they differ quite a bit. For example, one is 4x another. What is the unit being measured? A tuple tree as with Storm topologies or a Trident batch?
