Hi Yoav,

to the best of my knowledge, storm officially only supports Java 8. I had
recently tried to make it work on Java 14+, but that required some manual
adaptions to the shaded deps package and also most likely broke
compatibility with some libraries used for hadoop support (which we don't
use so it doesn't matter for us).

We have a storm cluster running in production with OpenJDK 13 for years
without problems. My guess is upgrading to Java 11 should be possible for
you, although not officially supported by storm.
