Why? Seems unnecessary if you're linking to your own site. If you're linking off-site, there's no good reason to use the html: tags anyway.

So using html: shortcuts, can this be done? Or do I have to go outside the 
framework?
I'm not aware of how it could be done w/o modifying tag source.
