The <bean:write/> is fine. I know that works. The problem is with the
logic:equal comparion.

<logic:iterate id="tz" name="timezones">
        <logic:equal name="accountProfileForm" property="timeZone"
value="${tz}.value">
                <bean:write name="tz" property="label"/>
        </logic:equal>
</logic:iterate>

How can I say that the value I want to check against if the getValue()
method from the "tz" variable?

None of these works?

<bean:write name="tz.value" property="label"/>
<bean:write name="tz" property="value.label"/>
<bean:write name="tz.value.label"/>

Michael.
