Another possible option can be found in Java Web Parts:

http://javawebparts.sourceforge.net/javadocs/javawebparts/servlet/TextRendererServlet.html

Select a suitably wacky font and you should be all set. Note the comments in the javadoc, this does *not* have to be used as a servlet, you can call its functionality manually, i.e., from an Action, etc.
