I'm assuming that there is a key-value pair defined in your message-resources (.properties) file as follows:
myValueAdded=my value {0} has been added. And that you want to print a value at location {0} to be passed from some jsp or some other file. <bean:message key="myValueAdded" arg0="value"/> Moreover, you can pass upto 5 arguments using arg0, arg1, .., arg4 in the same manner.
