Hello, My 2 cents.... I have used acegi with spring and JSF... Shouldn't be just a problem of configuring some context listeners and some Spring beans? As long as you can integrate spring with struts2 (sorry , cant help here since I m still stuck at struts 1.x) then you can just 'plug' acegi on your app
