I belive in you. I by myself have some tabbedPanels that works ok in Firefox. I just asked here to see if somebody have lived this same issue. And about the content that tabbedPanel shows when loading. Do you see that? Are you using a heavy content inside the first tab? By heavy you can understand a lots of remotes div and DB process.
