I've just pushed the 0.1 release of the Groovy Works plugin out the door. The Groovy Works plugin enables dynamic compilation of Struts Actions written in Groovy, as well as integration with Spring's scripting support. Using this plugin you can start your Struts application with mvn jetty:run and edit any Groovy file and simply reload to see the changes without a restart of your servlet engine.
This release includes the Struts 2 plugin as well as an example application demonstrating the usage of the plugin and Spring integration. This release adds proper caching of Groovy class instances. Future Plans for Groovy Works include support for Zero Configuration Groovy actions, a mvn archetype, and basic scaffolding. Stay tuned for news, or lend a hand if you're interested.
