You may want to check if you've the latest Websphere patches installed, since this could be a Websphere specific issue ; i had come across http://www.nabble.com/Re%3A--S2-----FIXED!--Websphere-6.1-Showcase-application%2C-Response-already-committed-warning-in-logs-p9831268.html when i faced this issue an year back, and finally got it working by patching WAS.
